History of the Hunt Information

Recently I was lucky enough to get my hands on a thick folder filled with information about the annual rattlesnake roundup.
The folder was originally put together by Jerry Brickman and contains a wealth of information about the history of the hunt including newspaper and magazine articles, photographs and promotional material.

The original Okeene Rattlesnake Hunters were the pioneers who came in when the territory and strip was opened for settlement.
